Kudos to the concerned vets who submitted the dogs’ blood samples to MSU, and to MSU for figuring out the problem!

Symptoms of vitamin D toxicity in dogs include increased thirst, increased urination, loss of appetite, weight loss, and higher than normal levels of nitrogen-containing compounds, such as BUN, in the blood. If your dog has been eating Blue Buffalo foods on the recall list, please see your vet.
