Does anyone know if this company has put out a press release about this or is it once again, just a statement at their website like Diamond and Nutro did with their recent recalls? So is Wysong no different than Diamond and Nutro then? This is disappointing to see them behaving this way. I wish these companies would act like they care and please put out a press release! You would think their primary concern would be to get the problem food away from as many pets as possible and as soon as possible but I dont see them taking actions that portray that.
I read last week at petsitusa blog that a pet owner had lost her dog and that this was to be a recall—I think that was on the 8th so here it is the 13th—oh yeah…it was a holiday weekend…nevermind all of the potential meals this mold poison could be fed..Time for change to the status quo..spread the word not only about the recall but also that Wysong took days to release the info…according to this they did notify retailers—http://www.petconnection.com/blog/2009/10/13/recall-wysong-dog-food/ but no where else…
and why is the recall info buried on the dfry dog food page of Wysong’s website and not a link from the main page??? It seems one has to know about the recall first from another source and then check the company website…No excuse for minimizing recalls with any product—food or otherwise!

Seems like there is an update to retailers???
Thank You, Keep up the Great work
